ABOUT THE BAND

Led by songwriter and lead singer, Cooper Jones, Poppy Harlo is uniquely influenced by their musical heroes the Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, and Nirvana. Poppy Harlo, however, is clearly carving out their own niche of rock with clever, thought-provoking lyrics and pop musical hooks. The band comes full circle for Jones primarily with guitarist, Sean Michael Howe. They are  rounded out by Julian Bailey on bass and Dean Foster on drums, both bringing their unique strengths and musical backgrounds to the table. Poppy Harlo has made waves playing renowned venues and festivals such as The Viper Room,  Saint Rocke, The Redondo Beach Beachlife Festival, Orange International Street Fair, Hermosa Beach Summer Concert Series and many more, and continues to seize every opportunity to play out live in front of any and every audience.  Poppy Harlo has recently released a six song EP, 'BLOOM', and has three more singles coming out this fall.
